How a request is billed

  1. Before the provider call, Orbit reserves a hold against remaining credits so one request cannot drain the wallet.
  2. After a successful call, usage is charged from billed input and output tokens at that model’s Bedrock list rate.
  3. Failed provider calls are not charged, and the hold is released.
Track spend live from Usage and Billing → Credits.
If the organization cannot cover the request’s cost ceiling, the API returns 402 with low on credits and the provider is not called.

When credits run out

Requests are declined once the org balance is exhausted. You are not billed a surprise invoice for overage. Add credits by buying or upgrading a plan from the dashboard.

Plans

Monthly plans include a credit grant. Prices can change — the live list is on tryorbit.cloud/pricing. Higher plans raise organization and member limits. Paid checkouts appear as invoices you can download. For custom volume, email shivang@tryorbit.cloud.
