# Organizations

> How workspaces, members, and API keys are scoped.

Everything billable in Orbit lives on an **organization**: API keys, credit balance, usage, and invoices.

A new account gets one organization automatically. Switch organizations from the sidebar in the dashboard.

## What is scoped to an org

* API keys created under that org
* Credit grants, usage, and remaining balance
* Playground chats (billed to the active org, no API key)
* Invoices

## Members

Invite teammates from [Settings → Organization](https://tryorbit.cloud/settings/organization).

Limits depend on the plan attached to the account:

| ---------------------- | ------------- | --------------- |
| No paid plan           | 1             | 1               |
| Trial                  | 2             | 10              |
| Starter                | 5             | 20              |
| Builder, Pro, Business | Unlimited     | Unlimited       |

## Create another organization

If your plan allows it, create another org from the organization switcher. Each org has its own keys and credit wallet, so you can separate personal work from a product or a client.
